WWE: Japanese Born Wrestlers Break Records in Royal Rumble Matches

Both Asuka and Shinsuke Nakamura both won their respective Royal Rumble matches Sunday Night. Asuka hails from Osaka Prefecture, Japan while Nakamura hails from  Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. The Japan-born superstars made history during the Royal Rumble PPV on Sunday Night with Nakamura becoming the first Japanese born superstar to win the Royal Rumble match and Asuka becoming the first ever winner of the Women's Royal Rumble match.

Shinsuke Nakamura made his WWE Smackdown Live debut on April 4th, 2017, the Smackdown Live after WrestleMania XXXIII. He has only battled for the WWE Championship once in his short term in the company. He lost to Jinder Mahal at Summerslam in July and since he hasn't been able to compete for the title since. Following his victory of the Rumble, Nakamura told Renee Young that he'd compete against A.J Styles at Wrestlemania XXXIV which sets up a so-called "dream match" by the fans.

Asuka eliminated Nikki Bella to punch her ticket to WrestleMania and earned her first chance to main-event a PPV. It was the first time Women had a match to themselves and forever, Asuka will be listed in the history books. Asuka made her debut at TLC in December defeating Emma in her first main-roster event and has since defeated everyone in her path. With the victory in the Women's Royal Rumble, Asuka can either face Charlotte Flair or Alexa Bliss at Wrestlemania, it's expected she will face Bliss in the RAW Women's Title Main Event.

With the Royal Rumble coming to an end, the WWE and The Walk-Off Sports Report are now on the Road to WrestleMania. With that being said, we are excited to announce that our WWE coverage will continue this year joining our previously announced sports. Stay tuned for more! (Koelle,2018)

Supercross: Chad Reed Tallies First Podium Finish Since 2017

It wasn't a victory for Chad Reed in Detroit but it was a podium finish for the driver from Kurri Kurri, Australia. His first podium since Glendale in 2017 and the 132nd career podium finish. The finish is just another page in the story for Reed and 2019 has been one hell of a story so far. Reed has already earned more top 10 finishes this season then he did last season. The first top-five finish Reed earned this year already was more than he netted in 2018. Before San Diego, Reed had not finished inside the top five since Toronto in 2017. Will Christien denoted to Reed during the post-race interview that he had not been a fan of the new "Triple Crown" format but will take a third place finish. "Honestly just starts and finally riding to your ability," Reed told NBCSN. "It's been a long time. For the guy who has stood up here more than anyone in the sport, you know I take it on personally as just feeling less about myself for not getting up here and

MiLB: Mobile BayBears Look for Walk-Off in Final Season in Mobile

On Thursday (April 4th), the Mobile BayBears kick off their final season in Mobile, Alabama. The team will relocate to Madison, Alabama after this season and the BayBears are looking to finish in walk-off style. The BayBears have an opportunity in 2019 to tie the Montgomery Biscuits with four Southern League titles. The organization is currently fourth on the all-time SLCS victories. One last season at Hank Aaron Stadium, is this the year they walk-off with their fifth Southern League championship? In 2018, the Mobile BayBears were hiding in the bushes during the 2018 Walk-Off Sports Report Southern League Playoff Watch but the organization was eliminated from playoff contention rather early in the campaign. The organization finished 66-70, fourth in the South Division. The BayBears were second in runs scored per game and runs batted in during the 2018 season but the rest of the batting statistics were pretty low. Things just didn't add up for the organization and in 2019 they
