MiLB: Chattanooga Drops Game Four to Montgomery after Biscuit Comeback in Eighth

Chattanooga had the upper hand on the Montgomery Biscuits through eight innings after scoring two runs in the first but a wild throw by pitcher Tyler Jay caused Nathan Lukes to score giving Montgomery the lead and ultimately the victory in game four of five in Montgomery.

The last two games for the Lookouts have been the wake-up call for both teams involved in this series. Chattanooga kicked off Wednesday's battle the way they had the previous two nights, by putting points up on the board in the first inning. Jaylin Davis belted a two-run home run in the first, his fifth home run since joining Chattanooga, matching his total from earlier in the season with Fort Myers.

Miles Mastrobuoni singled on a line drive in the fifth to put Montgomery on the board but from that point, Chattanooga kept the bleeding from getting out of control that was until the eighth inning.

Tyler Jay had two issues in the eighth which resulted in Jake Cronenworth and Lukes scoring during the mistakes putting Montgomery up 3-2. Chattanooga's Michael Kranson was walked in the ninth which resulted in a mound visit. With two balls and one strike, Brian Navarreto popped up to first with first baseman Dalton Kelly making the catch in foul territory sealing Montgomery's comeback.

The loss is the 67th of 2018 for the Lookouts while the victory is Montgomery's 71st victory.

The series-deciding game five kicks off at 6:35 p.m. CT in Montgomery. Sean Poppen (5-6) will take to the mound for the Chattanooga Lookouts. Poppen last took the mound for the Lookouts in the August 18th 1-0 loss against Mississippi.

Forrest Snow makes his return to AA baseball on Thursday night for the Biscuits. Snow was sent down from AAA Durham Bulls after spending 2018 with the organization. During his career, Snow has played in AA for five seasons and has a 14-18 in 96 games. He'll make his Montgomery debut on Thursday night while in the past he played for Biloxi and Jackson.

Supercross: Chad Reed Tallies First Podium Finish Since 2017

It wasn't a victory for Chad Reed in Detroit but it was a podium finish for the driver from Kurri Kurri, Australia. His first podium since Glendale in 2017 and the 132nd career podium finish. The finish is just another page in the story for Reed and 2019 has been one hell of a story so far. Reed has already earned more top 10 finishes this season then he did last season. The first top-five finish Reed earned this year already was more than he netted in 2018. Before San Diego, Reed had not finished inside the top five since Toronto in 2017. Will Christien denoted to Reed during the post-race interview that he had not been a fan of the new "Triple Crown" format but will take a third place finish. "Honestly just starts and finally riding to your ability," Reed told NBCSN. "It's been a long time. For the guy who has stood up here more than anyone in the sport, you know I take it on personally as just feeling less about myself for not getting up here and

On Thursday (April 4th), the Mobile BayBears kick off their final season in Mobile, Alabama. The team will relocate to Madison, Alabama after this season and the BayBears are looking to finish in walk-off style. The BayBears have an opportunity in 2019 to tie the Montgomery Biscuits with four Southern League titles. The organization is currently fourth on the all-time SLCS victories. One last season at Hank Aaron Stadium, is this the year they walk-off with their fifth Southern League championship? In 2018, the Mobile BayBears were hiding in the bushes during the 2018 Walk-Off Sports Report Southern League Playoff Watch but the organization was eliminated from playoff contention rather early in the campaign. The organization finished 66-70, fourth in the South Division. The BayBears were second in runs scored per game and runs batted in during the 2018 season but the rest of the batting statistics were pretty low. Things just didn't add up for the organization and in 2019 they
