Pensacola looked to add some insurance in the seventh as TJ Friedl Jr. scored on a single by Shed Long which put the Wahoos up 2-1. Biloxi turned around and slammed the door shut in the eighth scoring two runs with McDowell and Corey Ray passing home plate in separate plays.
Biloxi posted a strong ninth inning slamming the door on a Blue Wahoos victory and putting the Wahoos in a must-win situation as the series returns to Biloxi on Saturday Night.
Marcos Diplan will take the mound for Biloxi while Daniel Wright takes the mound for Pensacola. Should Biloxi win tonight, Biloxi will be headed to play the winner of the Jackson/Montgomery series.
