MiLB: Montgomery posts Dominant Performance in Game Two to Tie the Series

Much like the South Division Championship series, the North Division Championship series is now tied up at one as the Series heads south to Montgomery. The Biscuits secured the victory on Thursday night after dropping the first game on Wednesday night. The Biscuits put up eight runs during the victory.

The Biscuits put up three runs in the fourth to start out the scoring plays. Dalton Kelly scored on a line drive by Michael Brosseau to put Montgomery up 1-0. Nick Solak then scored on after Nathan Lukes was walked to first. David Rodriguez hit a sacrifice fly to center which scored Brosseau.

Brosseau scored again in the sixth after a double by Jesus Sanchez. Brett Sullivan posted a sacrifice fly scoring Dalton Kelly making it 6-0. To cap off the sixth inning, Brosseau knocked a two-run homer scoring Nick Solak.

In the course of three innings, Jackson attempted to mount a comeback by posting three runs but the damage was already done as the Biscuits picked up their first victory of the post-season.

Sam McWilliams will take the mound for the Montgomery Biscuits in the return to Montgomery while Justin Donatella will take the ball for the Jackson Generals. (Koelle,2018)
